It is difficult to calm this warmth
Lit match hits gas and I’m the impact
Truth hurts and this burns all that I lack
After I set myself on fire

Words turn into ash and fading smoke
The mood of two goes way out of tune
lips sealed and I feel all that I lose
After I set myself on fire

Go ahead just shrug and turn your head
Lifeless interest and I’m not impressed
All red I led the flame into my best
